Go there. Goal here.

1 min read

If you don’t know where you’re going, how will you know when you get there?

People are the most unsatisfied with themselves, not when they haven’t met their goals or have arrived at their destination, but when they’ve given up on their pursuit.

Setting a goal is not a sure way of accomplishing it but deciding not to set one is a sure way that it’ll never happen.

“Life favors the specific ask and punishes the vague wish.”

– Tim Ferris

The key to completing a goal is breaking it down into specifics.  Check out the Ziglar “Seven Steps of Goal Setting,” and see how it can apply in your life.

One of my favorite quotes regarding building your ask out of life is below:

“I bargained with Life for a penny, And Life would pay no more, However, I begged at evening When I counted my scanty store; For Life is just an employer, He gives you what you ask, But once you have set the wages, Why, you must bear the task. I worked for a menial’s hire, Only to learn, dismayed,That any wage I had asked of Life, Life would have paid.”

― Jessie B. Rittenhouse

A goal is a destination.

Discipline is the force that will get you there.
