The Challenge

McCafé is McDonald's global coffeehouse brand. Specialty coffee and café-style beverages, crafted for everyday enjoyment. The brand promise lives at the intersection of accessible and elevated, which is one of the harder tonal balances in F&B branding. Specialty coffee defaults to craft. Quick service defaults to convenience. McCafé needs both registers to live in the same brand.

The Strategy

We anchored the work to one principle. The brand should feel like a daily habit worth keeping, not a special occasion or a compromise. Warmth and consistency are the two notes McCafé already owns. The work had to reinforce both.

The Work

The campaign work carried the brand's existing visual language while bringing fresh expression to specific moments. Warmth as the through-line. Consistency as the discipline. The visual and verbal expression for specific McCafé campaign moments was designed to reinforce the brand's accessible and uplifting tone.
